On Sunday April 9th, Margaret and Roy Ward were presented with a garden seat and a plaque, along with a meal out for them both at the Lord Crewe.
This has been organised by the Parish Council, on behalf of the parish and all those who have been served long and well by them both. In so doing everyone in the parish will have made a donation through their community charge.
The plaque says "To Roy and Margaret with grateful thanks from the parish of Slaley".
